Fried Eggplant / Brinjal(Tale Baigan )

Tale hue Baigan 

A very simple , quick and tasty  recipe of  Gol Baigan (Round brinjal) which I have tasted few years back in  a small  Bangali Hotel. They served us plain lal masoor dal , rice with  fried Gol Baigan  ....That taste is still on my tongue. 


My friend Ruma Sen Gupta  has told me the recipe of  fried baigan . People who do not like Baigan  they may like  this dish as well . so try it .

 People- 2-3

Ingredients - 
  • Gol Baigan ( Round Brinjal)- 1 (washed and Sliced) Fried Eggplant / Brinjal
  • Salt - 1/4 tea spoon 
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tea spoon 
  • Red Chilli Powder. 1/4 tea spoon
  • Cooking oil to fry 
How to do -  
Make a mixture of  salt, turmeric powder and  red chilli powder in a bowl .Cut  round  egg plant/ Baigan in slices and coat them  with this mixture . keep it aside for few minutes Heat cooking  oil in non stick  frying pan  and fry these slices from both sides  till it turn well cooked .
