Poha is a dish which is very popular among Indians . I have learnt poha recipe from my friends but I have add on some more Ingredients to make it tastier and healthier.
So........ try this recipe from my mother's kitchen....

For poha recipe you will be needing-
Ingredients
- Flattend rice-2 cup
- Onion (large)-2( chopped)
- kalonji- 1/2 tea spoon
- Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Salt -1/4 tea spoon
- Refined oil- 2-3 table spoon
- Tomato(ripe) small-1( chopped)
- Green chili ( chopped)-4
- Peanuts -3 table spoon
Heat the cooking oil in the pan, fry chopped onion , add salt, kalounji, peanuts turmeric powder, finely chopped tomatoes, chopped green chili in the pan. Blend it all together and cook it at least 2 minutes.
you may add seasonal fresh vegetables like carrot, peas, beans etc. as per your liking.
Now put flatten rice in the sieve and wash it under the running water, let the water drain from the sieve put washed flatten rice in the pan with other ingredients .
Mix it well , if you see that poha has become dry , add 2-3 table spoon of water in the pan... stir a little, adjust salt as per your taste. Cover the lid and cook it on the low flame for two minutes then turn off the heat.
