Corn Flakes, Oats, Rice Snacks

                            


Corn flakes- Oats- Rice powder snack


Almost Two months back in the month of holy Ramzan I had a Ifftar at my brother,s Home where my Bhabhi Shiza Ali Zaidi cooked a delicious ,light and healthy snack for us . She served it with coconut chutney and it was soooo yummy . 









A lights snack for those, who are calories cautious  but love to enjoy delicious food. 

Here is the recipe....

Category - snacks .

People    -  2-3
Time     -20 minutes


Ingredients - 

For snack
  •  Oats - 1 cup 
  •  Corn flakes  - 1 cup 
  •  Rice - 1 cup 
  •  Finely chopped Onion -1 medium size 
  •  Green chili- 2 (chopped)
  •  Tomato -1 small  (Chopped)
  •  Salt- 1/5 tea spoon 
  •  Cooking oil 
    You can add other finely chopped vegetables like capsicum , french beans, carrot etc. as per your liking .



For Coconut Chutney


  • Coconut powder- 2 table spoon 
  • Green chili-1
  • Salt -1 pinch
  •  Roasted Chana - 1 table spoon
Grind these ingredients altogether in the mixer grinder with some water . 
How to  make snack .


Make powder of corn flakes rice ,and oats in mixer grinder then make  thick paste of it with some water. Add salt and finely chopped onion, green chili, and other vegetables. Mix it well and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Heat few drops of cooking oil  on the  non stick pan. Spread the mixture on the pan .Let it cook well on that side on the low flame then flip it like roti or chapati and cook it well till it turn golden brown from both sides. 
Serve it  hot with coconut chutney

I am fond of south Indian  food, the quality of south  Indian food is...... it is less oily and  great in taste . I always  wanted to learn south Indian  recipes. Luckily I got a friend  Nadiya Najimudeen who is  from kerala .She is a beautiful human being and cooks delicious south Indian dishes.
She is a proud mother of three little daughters Nidha, Nihana and Nuha  and gets  occupied with them all the time. But when I requested her to cook something delicious for my esteemed readers. She squeezed  time  from her busy schedule and cooked Yummy south Indian dessert kinnathappam  for us.

People who are vegetarian , and fond of peas and rice,  their taste buds will  surely love the taste of Matar- Pulao... from my mother's kitchen. 

Mummy always preferred  to use  good quantity of fresh peas to make  Matar- Pulao  ..... that tasted great .... I can feel that taste  even  now....  which  we  enjoyed with  mix  salad  and  tomato chutney.

Poha is a dish  which is very popular  among Indians . I have learnt  poha recipe from  my friends  but  I  have add on some more Ingredients  to make it tastier  and healthier.
